The Snow Show – WITH PAULA JOHNS & MICHAEL RICHARD KELLY, & special guest, Eddie Bruce

Dec

21

This is the THIRD year with sold out runs that make this show a mandatory holiday favorite.

It’s A MUST see evening when  friends Paula Johns & Michael Richard Kelly reunite, along with The James Dell’orefice Trio,  for their take on “White Christmas”, “The Carol Burnett Show”, and “The Hallmark Channel”, all rolled into one !

Joining them tonight is concert, and cabaret artist, Eddie Bruce.

Eddie Bruce is an iconic bandleader who has entertained generations of audiences of all ages, and is an acclaimed cabaret artist who has performed at some of the top nightspots and theaters in the region and beyond, including Don’t Tell Mama in NYC, where he just performed to a sold out run.  Most recently performed at Drexel University’s Mandell Theatre, where he performed a sold-out tribute to famed nightspot, The Latin Casino.

Paula Johns is an accomplished cabaret singer and jazz vocalist who hails from Philadelphia. She is often compared to Ella, and some of the great contemporaries of that era, but Paula brings her own distinctive panache to each song she sings…expecially the songs from The Great American Songbooks.

With a voice like butter, she enjoys a great lyric that tugs at your heartstring, as well as a lyric that’ll make you fall off your seat with laughter.  Her passion for the music ignites the emotions of her audiences and allows them to feel the stories that each song tells.

Entertainment director and co-owner of Dino’s Backstage, Michael Richard Kelly has been a professional singer for over 35 years.  He came to Philadelphia in 1983 to do the musical spoof ”Forbidden Broadway” at The Bellevue-Strattford, and performed for the royal family of Monaco in 1985 when performing “The All Night Strut” at The Casino De Monte Carlo.  In 1995, Michael, was awarded Philadelphia magazine’s – “Best of Philly® – Cabaret Act-1995“.
