Tim Connell returns to The Celebrity Room with a new show. There’s This Thing…a musical reflection of life’s hoopla. An evening of eclectic songs including, I Am What I Am (Jerry Herman), The Remedy, (Jason Mraz), Old Ghosts (Matt Alber), Bless the Beast and the Children (The Carpenters), Bright Side of Life (Monty Python’s Spamalot), Children Will Listen, (Stephen Sondheim), Playbill (John Bucchino), Sound of Silence (Simon & Garfunkel). Returning with him is Musical Director / Accompanist James Followell. Direction is by Steven Petrillo.

Biography


Tim Connell recently returned from Arrow Rock, MO and the Lycuem Theatre where he was part of Mamma Mia (Harry Bright) and The Hound of Baskervilles (Dr. Mortimer). His solo cabaret piece, “Here’s the Thing…”, was well received in NYC and Philadelphia. He has appeared on Broadway (Nick & Nora), in Nat’l & Internat’l Tours (Spamalot, West Side Story, Crazy For You), Off & Off-Off Broadway (Actor’s Playhouse, Theater for the New City, Urban Stages, NY Fringe Festival, 47 th Street Theatre, et. al.) and Regional Theaters (Kitchen Theatre, Connecticut Rep, Walnut Street Theatre, Florida Studio Theatre, et. al.). Along with his performing arts accomplishments, he also holds a Masters in Applied Theatre, where he uses his theatre arts skills in service to various communities throughout the NYC area and beyond.
