Kathy Graham is a consummate professional. A triple threat with a 4 octave range, she has channeled her passion for performing into a 30 year career that includes recordings, club dates, concerts, theatre, radio and education. As a vocalist, audiences across the country have been delighted by her innovative renditions of some of the world’s most beautiful music. Her dynamic and warm personality comes through on any stage in any venue from performances with the Garden State Philharmonic Orchestra to her 1 woman show at B. Smith’s Rooftop Café. She is at home with every genre of music from Contemporary Musical Theatre to Country Western and everything in between. Her recordings of “Over the Rainbow” and “I’m Not the Other Woman” have been featured on the Joe Franklin Radio Show along with an in-depth interview. Kathy’s one woman show “The Music in Me” played sold out performances at Swing 46, B Smith’s and Birdland in Manhattan.
Kathy has been featured with show business veterans such as Darlene Love, Gail Nelson, Jackie Mason, Rich Little, Freddy Roman, Adam Wade, Yakov Smirnoff, Nipsy Russell, Alan King and many more. She has headlined performances throughout Florida and starred as a headliner and opening act throughout the Pocono and Catskill Mountains. Her theatre credits include principle roles in Mame, L’il Abner, Bye Bye Birdie, The Me Nobody Knows, Sound of Music and Leader of the Pack to name just a few and Kathy is widely acclaimed for originating the role as Georgia in the off-off Broadway production of “Café Society” written and directed by Adam Wade.
Kathy has the distinction of also performing as lead vocalist with the Jerry Kravat Orchestra, Dynasty Entertainment, the Alan Quinn Orchestra and Bob Egan Entertainment.
In addition to her extensive performing career, Kathy was director of her own studio for Dance and Musical Theatre. She taught music, theatre and dance to hundreds of students for over 15 years. She works today as director for many regional cabaret performers as well as performance coach and vocal producer to local artists and young people.
Today she can be seen in her 1 woman show – Kathy Sings-The Great American Songbook as well as sold out performances of her hit show “Celebrating Patsy Cline –a Heartfelt Tribute to a Country Music Legend” throughout the tri-state area. Her most recent recording “For Good” featured with Carolyn Kearney on the “Song a Month Project” is available on CD Baby and iTunes.
